How safe is it to be knocked out when getting wisdom teeth pulled??
Question: I want to know how safe it is to be knocked out when getting my wisdom teeth pulled
Answers: Very safe. It's not like they take a Louisville Slugger to your dome. They either give you laughing gas (nitrous oxide) or start an intravenous drip of some sort of benzodiazepine or other sedative. It's the best high you will ever have! Not to mention the feeling of being cloaked in a pharmaceutical Velvet for at least three days after the operation. Good luck with your operation! Ciao! :-)

it seems preety safe. i have 7 wisdom teeth (no i am not lieing) and i have to get them all pulled soon. they havent even come in yet.
it really depends on your body. i personally didn't have a problem. but i only considered it for the bottoms, the tops didn't really hurt. just make sure that your dentist knows about any meds that you have taken.
Safer than staying awake for this dreadful deed! Take the sleep, You wake up and feel sooooooooooo much better. Had all 4 of mine out and it was such a relief.
