Answers: eating to few calories can be counter productive as it shuts down your metabolism. as for low fat foods... they sometimes add sugar to make things taste better which can add bad carbs to your diet. it is best to eat healthy carbs (veggies fruits and whole grains) and lean proteins. counting calories can help. the average lady needs about 1900 calories per day assuming a sedentary life style to maintain their present weight maintain a deficit of about 500 calories per day to lose a pound a week. don't over do it though because like i said earlier you could derail your weight lose efforts by shutting down your metabolism.

Just remember everything in moderation and what takes years to develop won't disappear over night and you will be fine
What you want to look for is you Carbohydrates. intake.
I was having the same problem. and then i started to see a nutritionists
a person should be sticking to a 2000 calorie diet per day.
More at calories. Wight loss is about burning more calories then you consume. However, the fat content is important as well - you dont want something with a lot of fat because its basically what I call useless energy.
