When's the best time to have dinner??

Question: i heard timing for dinner makes all the difference on your body. when's the best time to have dinner? and if you want to have supper, what's the best time to have them and what kind of food should you take during this meal?
Answers: I like to have my dinner at least 4 hours before i sleep. It helps my body digest the food and not that i sleep on a full stomach.
you should be eating small meals every 2-3 hours....i start with breakfast of 2oz of protien and 1 fruit at 8 am....11:30 i have 2 oz of protien and 1 fruit..lunch at 2 2 oz protien, veggies and 1/2 cup carb of some kind, afternoon snack around 4 of 2 oz protien and veggies, supper at 6:30 of 2 oz protien, veggies and carb....sometimes i have a piece of fruit at night....
the best time to have dinner is as early as possible. It is actually healthier for you to not have dinner , but small meals throughout the day, which you ingest whenever you are hungry. I'm not sure why (I forgot), but one thing I know for sure is to never eat just before you sleep. If you HAVE to, nothing starchy or heavy.
Hope this helps a teeny bit.
You want your last meal to be three hours before bedtime.
The best time to have your two biggest meals are at breakfast and lunch. Your most active times as you need the fuel the most then.
If you are a person who work night shift or swing-shift modify to fit those most active times..
The most common sense approach in my opinion is the food pyramid we learned in school. (If you go to FDA site you can see portion sizes as well google search will get you there)
Fresh fruits, veggies and lower fat sources of protein and whole grain breads and pastas.
Low fat dairy foods.
You don't want to eat big meals and do the couch potato and go to bed too full. That contributes to obesity and a lot of other health problems.
A light dinner and then a healthy light snack later will make you feel satified, going to be too empty can cause insomnia.
