Why when you yawn, especialy in the morning, your eyes water????
Answers: When you yawn you pull on the same muscles that operate your tear ducts. For some people the pull is minor and so it doesn't generate tears. For others it is greater and tears almost always occur. A bigger fuller yawn is more likely to produce tears because the pull on the tear ducts is greater and more sustained.
