Why and when would you use BIPAP??
Answers: A BIPAP machine is for sleep apnea. I use one. It is better than the CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure machine) because it allows you to breathe out without fighting the continuous air pressure that a CPAP provides. It senses when you are going to breathe out and drops the pressure of the air to almost nothing, then resumes when you breathe back in.
It is a life saver for me. If you cannot tolerate the CPAP (which is less expensive), then I highly recommend it.
I hope this helps!
