Why is when you wake up you feel so numb??
Answers: Try to sleep on your belly on the right side, the right arm at the back stretched, your right leg under you, in stretched position, left arm in front, flexed, under or on the pillow, your right cheek on the pillow. You can try it on the left side too. It's very important to have fresh air in the bedroom, open the window a little. The carbon dioxide which you expels during the sleep it's heavier than the air and stays around your head as you sleep. You can put a little fan near your bed to move the air or a shaded lamp which will heat and move the air and hopefully is not so bright and will let you sleep. It's important to not sleep more than eight hours because the carbon dioxide is accumulated in your body during the sleep. And an other thing, don't keep plants in your bedroom, in nighttime they eliminate carbon dioxide.

Numb how? Like you just want to stay in bed all day? If so it sounds like depression.
I don't feel numb - maybe you're not getting enough rest.
I wake up thinking of all the things I have to do that day and I get mentally organized, jump up and get moving.
because ur body has been in such a position for around 8 whole hours
i feel sluggish after waking up cause my body has been at rest. if you mean numb as in you can't feel maybe you need to try a different sleeping position
i do not know what to tell you. I feel numb all the time these days.
It's probably your sleeping position. You may be sleeping in such a way that hampers the circulation of your blood that's why you feel numb when you wake up.
If certain parts of your body are numb ie: hands, fingers, forearms, you could have carpel tunnel. This has happened to me on more than one occasion. It comes and goes. If it is bothersome, I sleep with a hand splint on.
