What happens when you swallow a tongue ring??
Answers: Nothing... it comes out the other end just like if it were food. It's so small it can't do anything to you...

if it got past ur esphogus and into ur stomach ur fine- u will poop it out
if it does not get lodged in your intestines, you will pass it in a couple of days...

It ends up in the crapper. To retrieve it, you would need to crap on some sort of screen so that you could irrigate the crap until the tongue ring showed up.
If you only swallowed part of the tongue ring such that there was something sharp & pointy sticking out of it, this could literally get stuck in your esophagus and even cause a perforation.
