When you bleed. what cells rush to the wound or cut and help stop the bleeding??
Answers: This process is called haemostasis which basically has three elements: Vasoconstriction, Platelet aggregation and Clotting cascade. when you cut yourself the platelets act first and undergo changes.
Platelet aggregation can result in a 'platelet plug' that can block a small hole ,Platelets then adhere to damaged endothelium (via Von Willebrand factor) .Aggregating platelets releases arachadonic acid, converted to thromboxane A2
Calcium mediated contraction of actin and myosin results in degranulation Releases ADP which can induces further aggregation and release in a positive feedback fashion.
The rest is slightly more complicated for me.
So the old saying stands- 3 ps for stopping bleeding- pressure, patience and platelets.
Hope that helps
platelets
Platelets rush to to the wound to help block it and create scabs for the blood to stop
I don't think much others do, but the blood cells clot up with another cell, which's name is on the tip of my tounge right now.
Platelets. They're really just cell fragments that come from a larger cell called a megakaryocyte. They form a sort of mesh around the wound and constrict the open area to pull it together and stop bleeding. It's like the body's natural suturing (stitching).
platelets
that would be the platelets they are the smallest blood cell in your body
why r u asking
white blood cells
Those would be PLATELETS. They aggregate or start stacking together to start forming clots and prevent against hemorrhaging.
platelets help the blood to clot when its exposed to air, they are already in the blood, so there is no rushing of any kind.
These are your platelets.
People who have problems with there platelet levels have problems with bleeding.
Platettes in your blood clog the blood from exiting the wound

i luv the human body,,well thats an easy question..scar tissue appears and it starts 2 heal
Platelets, measured by prothrombin time tests against INR, normal range for which is 2.0 to 3.0 for most diagnostic use, are cells which stop bleeding with coagulation, hemostasis, and blood thrombus formation. Platelets adhere to each other and injured tissue edges to seal off and plug a wound.
thye are called platelets. the brain notifies them that you have a wound so then they rush to the scene. then they start holding each other and they form a scab and then no bacteria can enter. you ever watched Ozzy and Drix?
