What causes a protruding cervix??
Question: I recently had a smear test and a test for STDs they both came back clear,while the nurses was doing it she said my cervix was slightly protruding,what does this mean and why is it protruding?

sounds like you may have a prolapse muscles become to relaxed up there and the cervix then starts to protude further down the vagina there is a small op you can have but only if it causes any problams if not wouldnt bother its not nessasary
