What causes your eyes to look dilated after taking off glasses??
Question: I just recently got eye glasses about a week ago. I started noticing that the last couple of days my eyes felt weird when I took my glasses off and I have been having headaches. I looked in a mirror last night and noticed that my eyes were dilated and took up the most part of my eye. I dont know what would cause this. I have contacted my eye doctor and he is supposed to call me back but hasnt yet. Does anyone know what would cause this?
Answers: possibly your eyes are just getting used to the fact that they now have to have corrective lenses. the dilation is your eyes way of focusing (contracting the iris) and removing the glasses takes things out of focus and confuses your eye.
