My left leg is numb for no reason??

Question: its actually the top of my leg near the hip. i didn't notice it till yesterday while at the store. what could it be? will it go away? i'm not sure how long its been like that but it kinda hurts too.
Answers: the same thing happens to me my doctor said it could be because i ve pu on some weight or it could be a pinched nerve,I don't have insurance right now so I can't afford the tests.Mine feels like it asleep at first then it kinda starts to burn and feels like neeedles are being stuck in my leg, like you it's just my left leg and it just goes fron my knee to the groin area,it seeems to flair up after standing for a while or walking. If I find out anything I'll let you know do the same.Good luck.Any body know of a reasonable Insurance that someone with Asthm can purchase?I'm trying to buy some and it's not cheap and I've been turned down because I have asthma and I haven't been tobacco free for at least 2 yrs./Depressing to see all the illegals covered by state plans, but thats a whole nother can of worms.
A pinched nerve? Talk to your doctor...
it will as soon as you quite sitting on it
You may need to amputate.
this happens to me sometimes I think its just growing but im not sure
I would definitely see my doctor but it could be sciatica nerve.
I don know
As we get older certain of our body parts act a little different than when we were younger. However, do not ignore this condition for too long without talking to your doctor. Because if you get expert help things may or may not get worse. However, listen to your body.
how could it be numb and hurts at the same time. numb to me means no feelings.please describe how it really feels. my guess would be either nerve involvement or poor circulatio. if it doesn't go away, check with your doctor, and explain fully how does it feel.
