Voice Question??

Question: I've recently been having issues with my voice. When I wake up, my voice is full and deep, and I like it.

But sometimes as the day goes on, it starts to fade and it doesn't sound so good. It's somewhat hoarse and not as full, and I sound very old. Sometimes though, later on, it resumes it's normal tone. I wonder if this is natural or because of something I'm doing?

Sometimes I tend to breathe through my mouth while walking or doing exercise, and sometimes my throat tends to feel phlegmy, so I swallow in my mouth a lot, or cough a bit. Sometimes I get sore throats when my voice fades.

I'm not sure if any of these habits result in a partial loss of voice, but I'd appreciate some feedback on what's going on. I'm persuing a career in radio, so it's a little important for my voice to not crap out on me ;)
Answers: Well, I never notice it, but I have a real bass-deep rumbling kind of voice, and I just notice that when I swallow all the saliva in my mouth and clear my throat, my voice sounds very hearty and loud, but you seem to accommodate for excess mucus and your voice changes trying to avoid it. If I want to speak clearly and pronounced, I always swallow all my spit and to keep it away I breathe through my mouth in an attempt to dry my mouth out.
Maybe you are just about to change your voice but not completly changed
