When to test Free Testosterone??
Question: Does it matter what time you have a blood test for Free T? Could it even be in the evening?

Answers: Testosterone is one of those flactuating hormones that reaches its peak in the morning hours and according to our circadian rythms it has its highest peak in the fall.
You should test for it in the morning as most test is bound and only a small percentage is free. Your Dr, depending on your needs, may want to take several samples throughout the day. Are you testing for a specific reason?
Whenever you do decide to go for it, you want all following tests to be done around the same time, as testosterone ebbs & peaks at different times during the day.
