Why am i paranoid??

Question: Hi, just wondering if anybody experiences this or can giveme some explanation. I am paranoid all the time over silly stuff. For example, i wonder if people are watching me at home, what people are thinking about me (wether they are present or not), if they are looking at me, whether my friends and family are talking about me etc. I dont take no drugs anymore (I smoked weed for about a year - stopped around 9 months ago). Any help is appreciated, i also have terrible mood swings????
Answers: Sometimes drugs cause brain chemicals to permanently alter. This paranoia is a brain pattern and could be a sign of early psychosis. I saw these in my brother - drug induced psychosis. But he killed himself before anyone could help.

I would find a specialist, through your doctor. get a referal to a psychiatrist and get assessed clinically. It's better than waiting until you hit a point of no return, or the suicide tunnel. Your family/friends will never recover if you don't do some self-care.
I'd like you to consider this:

I think you are just more aware of your surroundings and your effect upon your surroundings than 95% of the people in the world. As a result you worry how people look at what you do. You want to know what those same 95% of people think about you? -- They don't. They don't really think about anything because by and large they are reasonably UN-aware of TONS of things. The only thing they think about is whatever is right in front of them or what they are doing right then. It's kind of sad really. As a result They don't really realize the effect they have on anybody around them, or just the sleightest realization.
see a doctor
Everyone is paranoid to some extent, its human nature. But learn to chuck out the fringe scares that do not mean much
weed can do some funny stuff to you i should know my partner smoked when he was younger and he suffers from mood swing, paranoia and anxiety, he can flip in a couple of seconds from one minute to the next, go and see your doctor and tell him how you feel he should be able tp help you good luck
How is your self esteem? I mean, how do you really feel about yourself? Are you happy, or sad? Maybe there is some kind of chemical imbalance or something going on. It's not always just in our heads.I feel that way too sometimes, and my Dr wanted to put me on this drug(paxil) that I just couldn't bring myself to take. Past pot smoking isn't enough to make that happen, I don't think. Good luck!
You said you just stopped drugs......You feel paranoid....mood swings.....stop the cycle.....find help
from people who understand....you're paranoid because you have no support to deal with your issues...not the issue of drugs
Weed can make you paranoid after you've become a chronic smoker (no pun intended), but the effects wont last anywhere near to 9 months past the time you quit. There are a few different disorders that can cause this. Best thing for you to do is to see a psychiatric professional. If you don't like the first, keep looking until you find one that you like. And be totally honest with him/her. If you're not then there's no point in going. This is something that can be managed or even cured, depending upon the cause. Just don't give up. Good luck man.
Well it sounds to me that paranoia and mood swings is the result of weed smoking. You must have stopped smoking, but the damage is already been done.

You must seek help so that you can over come this.
