What does Jealousy really feels like??
Question: I always thought that jealousy is a feeling that makes you angry; and only angry. I just recently discovered that when you're jealous, it also makes you feel like you want to puke, and now I'm confused.
Answers: Jealousy is where your thought process and your emotions join in a desire to have or to do or to be something other than you are/have. It can also be as a protective and caring action toward another person.
Jealousy can be as mild as I wish I had that candy bar
Or Jealousy can be as strong as to stop or kill someone or something that tries to harm your loved one. ( a bear after your child ) ( finding your lover with someone else )
The anger you spoke of is reffered to as fight or flight energy that calls us to action.
Specific physical reactions, such as anger, or nausea can vary from person to person, and from instance to instance.
One episode of jealousy does not equal another, and so, neither does the person's reaction.
