Question: What is the highest possible prescripton of contacts you can get?
For example, if your glasses prescription is -5, can you still wear contacts?
How about -10?
Answers: As high as you want, for a price. There are people called contact lens technicians who do cutom work. In regular off the shelf brands you are more limited, varies by brand. -5 and -10 are normal, no problem.

In some specialty lenses you can go up to a +/- 25.00
-/+ 25 is the highest and yes you can get contacts but not from a glasses rx you need to be fitted for contacts they have base curves
