Question: For the last year and half I began seeing these trail afterimages.If I wave a white piece of paper in front of a dark background, I'll see a slow trail follow behind it. If I open up my cellphone in the dark and move it, I see an arc of light that looks like neon following behind it. I have never done drugs. Only thing I could even image it might have been was permanent damage from sleeping pills I used to take. But even then, that's just speculation as I've never heard of anyone complain about over the counter sleeping pills damaging their vision. I did take one prescribed bottle of Ambien as well. I went to an eye doctor and he examined my eyes and said they look normal and that the problem appears to be in the brain, not the eyes, which is what I suspected and he basically said there was nothing that could be done and sent me on my way. Now this isn't a life changing problem, but it does worry me because I don't know if it'll get worse. Is anyone familiar with this problem?
