What do you find to be the biggest problems at your eye doctors office??

never getting the same doc twice, so I wonder how they could know my situation that well?
Allot of people with poor vision
They show you the most expensive frames and lenses before they show you the lower priced ones and then talk badly about how the quality is so different. Also the waiting time just to have the frames you picked fitted to your face and then sometimes they wont tell you your face is either too big for your new frames or too small. You find out when you have them a few days and say to yourself you look like a dork! That has happened to me,
Waiting... forever!! They seem to be the slowest doctors in the WORLD and never schedule enough time in between patients, so we end up waiting.
Waiting, then waiting after the assistant sees you, then waiting agan...there HAS to be a better way......Have a happy and healthy new year!
Having to wait for my glasses to come in. Since my lenses have to made someplace else [my eyes are bad].
I normally only go after my glasses have broken beyond repair. Which used to happen more often than you're supposed to go in for a checkup.
Then I have to wait for an appointment, wait for the ordered glasses. then go in, and if they're not ok they have to send them back. I can't leave the house without my glasses [I'd need a seeing eye dog lol].
Thankfully this pair is holding out *fingers crossed* Hopefully they'll last til March :)
my eye doctor. tried to not tell me that he could give me an eye examination for contacts....even though I inquired about them. i was going to just get the examination done at TSO which would have been much more money. so he's my biggest problem. but i got it taken care of.
Their attitude that all customers are stupid. Really. This is why there are so many myths about vision that you read here at Yahoo answers, and so many people who have no idea what's wrong with their eyes. Optometrists are worse than any other type of doctor for patting you on the head, not explaining things, talking to you as if you are a child, and trying to make it all mysterious. I bought the books they study from in college, they won't catch me out any more!
