Please help me I think my body is all mest up??

Question: I started my period in July 2006 then I skipped it until December 2006, but for a while goowie slimy stuff has been coming out of my, well you know, where babys come from. Im to embaressed to talk to anyone about it. I am just wondering if it is normal or if I should go to the doctor, If you do know what it is please tell me .Also Im 13 and I have never had sex.
Answers: I'm guessing you don't feel comfortable talking to your mom. If you are menstruating, you should be seeing an ob/gyn for regular check-ups - has nothing to do with being sexually active.

Ob/gyns, like all doctors, have heard it all and won't be grossed out by ANYTHING you have to say.

If you don't have anywhere to turn to, make an appointment with Planned Parenthood. They can see you for women's health problems and not just pregnancy-related issues.

You may have nothing to worry about, but you should have someone you trust to help you.
You will find your answer here. www.lost.eu/145df
You have to tell your mom to take you to the doctor for it, because if you have a severe enough candida infection it can turn into cervical cancer and you will lose your life.
MY GOD GIRL GO TO THE F'ING DOCTOR'S Seriously, and tell your mom too....did u have sex?
that's normal you're having vaginal discharge that usually comes right before your period comes back
You need to see a doctor.
If you are irregular (started your first time within the past 2 years or less) that is completely normal. The slimy stuff is normal..it is probably normal yeast that the vagina makes.

If you are really worried ask your mom/older sister/friend & if that dosen't seem to help..try to schedule an appointment with the gyno.

You are perfectly fine & if you need more reassurance or FAQs

ask a wise woman

I'm male so I don't know

maybe its a yeast infection, if you haven't had sex yet , you can rule out the really nasty things
That would be vaginal discharge and it is normal, but go to the Doctor to rule out any medical problems. You should have your period regularly once it starts, that was my experience.
I would recommend seeing a doctor just to be safe if you haven't had your period for that long but the gooey stuff is normal for all girls
I'm not an expert but that can't be normal I would suggest seeing a doctor right away. If it is nothing than it won't be a big deal, but if something is wrong it is good to get it fixed before it causes to much damage.
you are probably ok, you might want to see your dr just because you are turning into a lady now, it was so long ago when i first started i cant remember the details. this is just the begining, hang in there
congratulations....you are normal...
Its called discharge, some women have it, some women dont, some have alot of it, if you dont like it- wear a panty liner. Its the natural process of your uterus flushing itself out and it will fluctuate for the rest of your life. If you dont get your period back you may want to go to the doctor and make sure nothing is out of wack. Dont worry unless you become sexually active- then discharge can be a warning sign of std.
your body is changing the slimy stuff is called discharge that is normal for a women. the Period part is also normal since you are a new comer by the way congratulations this is just the beginning but to be on the safe side go to the doctor and or talk to your school nurse or a counselor at your school
Sometimes periods can be a bit irregular when you first start...mine was a little bit off as well. Maybe your body just needs to get used to your period for awhile and then things will go properly. If not, you should tell your mom because something might be wrong with you.
You need to get a check up by a doctor to determine why your period started and stopped (not normal). The gooey slimy stuff coming out of your vagina (young ladies can say it), may just be normal bodily discharge or female ejaculate. Many women do this some very little, some a lot, some not at all, some only right before thier periods are supposed to start. See a doctor, ask questions, and get comfortable with your body (and calling the body parts what they are). Every young lady should see a doctor once a year for a check up anyway.
Tell your mom first. She'll know what to do.
For about two years after you get your period for the first time it will be irregular. It's something perfectly natural and you shouldn't worry so much about. The *slimy stuff* your talking about is most likely discharge, that also happens, but if it does seem to become an issue and there is, what you think, is a lot of it, you should talk to an adult about it and get checked out but it's nothing really serious. Here's a website to help you keep track of when your period is going to come, after you record a couple of your periods it will calculate when you'll get your period for the next two years. Sometimes it may be off by a day or so but it will usually be pretty accurate.

I think you should talk to your mom or a trusted friend do not wait longer this might be serious.
If you've never had sex, you're probably just fine. A certain amount of clear or white discharge is normal. If there's a bad smell with it, or if it's really itchy, then you should probably see a doctor - you could have a yeast infection (which isn't serious). Your periods will take a while to stabilize and get regular - that's nothing to worry about at all.

In other words, don't worry! This is what it's like being a woman. :)
Scary isn't it! Just kidding, it's all normal. You have a sort of 'pre-period', then you have a break, then you have a period again and you get strange stuff in your minnie-ha-ha and it's all a bit odd. DONT PANIC...you periods probably wont settle down until you are a bit older.

Always carry some pads and spare underwear.
ok wel im 12 soo i think i can kinda help u well i learmed it in health class that the slimy stuff coming out is discharge it comes out of me every day that part is normal i think u should go see a doctor because ur suppost to get ur period ATLEAST once a month or every soo often becuz if the last time u had ur period was in july 2006 then something must be wrong but maybe .........who knows but the best way to know is to go to the doctors!!! well u should email me or go on yahoo messanger sumtimes u sound real kool well... email me at tavareskelly@yahoo.com
I wasn't sure where this question was going till I got to the last line, and was relieved. Being 13, you probably had your first period in July...right? It isn't unusual for periods to be extremely widely spaced during the first year. THe discharge you mention may be that your body is try ing to ovulate and that discharge is typical of when that is happening. As much as you may not want to talk to anyone about it, you do need some medical help. Do you have a Planned Parenthood in your city or nearby? They have Nurse Practitioners ( I am one too) to help you. ALso, ask your family doctor if he has a Practitioner....they are usually women and it makes the history taking a lot easier and also the exam itself. You're entering womanhood now, so you must take care of your self as a woman would. Good luck...I know you can do this.
What you are explaining does not sound right. At first, your period will probably be irregular. The time between when you get it, the length of time you have it, and the amount of flow will all vary I suggest that you speak to your mother, school nurse or another older female that you can confide in. At thirteen it is normal to be embarrassed to talk about this, but it is much better to talk now before what you are experiencing gets worse.
I would first tell my mom try to let her know what is going on .
and i would go to the doctor because it sounds like you have an infection but sins you have not had sex it sounds like you could be ovulating but i really think you should go to the doctor!
tell your mom, so she can take you to your doctor... it is important that you be completely honest with the doctor, if you need your mom to step out for a bit don't be afraid to ask k?
um i really think you should talk 2 a docter and whern you do dont be imbaressed because thats what there here for and if it is bad u wont care who nos as long as u get better but if u 1 nos u could get worse if it is a bad thing.
good luck 2u
Ur mostly normal. Discharge normal. Happy trails on girls not normal.
