What is that pill that makes your period at least 3 days shorter??
Answers: http://www.shortperiod.com/shorter.php
Don't take that. It has dangerous side effects. Just have a period like nature inteded for you to.
If you plan on having children, this is a BAD idea. It messes with your hormones and makes it harder to conceive. I agree with answer number one. Just let nature take its' course!! ^_^
It's a new oral contraceptive named YAZ. The 28-pill pack contains 24 active {combined hormones: drospirenone & ethinyl estradiol} pills, and 4 inactive {sugar} reminder pills. Don't pay any attention to the people up here that say that oral contraceptives are dangerous, or that they'll make you infertile; these persons aren't health-care professionals and are uninformed of the facts. Modern, low-dose pills such as these are safe to use for the vast majority of women. Unless you are a heavy smoker over 35 years of age, have chronic liver or kidney disease, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, have a history of uterine or breast cancer, or have a history of blood clots or thrombophlebitis, it is much safer to use birth control pills than to get pregnant and give birth. In fact, my 17 y/o daughter is on this brand of pill and hasn't experienced any side effects; her periods are shorter with very light bleeding and her menstrual cramps have stopped. I'm a Registered Nurse, and if oral contraceptives were dangerous for my only child, I wouldn't let her take them under any circumstances; don't you think so? So, make an appointment with your attending physician and talk to him/her about your interest in using this particular brand of birth control pills. Chances are that they'll be prescribed to you. Good luck, and hope that my advice has been of help. In the meantime, go to the following website and get the real facts:
